Jean-David Bodenan - January 12, 2018 Building bridges - The earliest times of the Solar System through the lens of meteorites With the development of observations of distant solar systems, we develop a better understanding of the early stages of their evolution. Another source of information regarding these very early stages of planetary systems can be found closer to home within the components of chondrites. Of special interest are Calcium-, Aluminium-rich Inclusions (CAIs). Studying these objects using cosmochemical methods and tools (isotopes, major and trace elements...) opens a window on the conditions that dominated their formation in the protoplanetary disk. Here we present important results on these objects and how they could bring constrains to the simulations and model being developed by the astrophysics community.
